The
Vendee Automobile Museum invites you to peruse its collection of motor
cars and other modes of transport which began in 1939.
It is a family's passion for engineering and cars which has led to the preservation of over 200 vehicles (cars, bicycles, motorcycles and horse drawn carriages) ranging from 1885 to prototypes for the future.
160 of them are displayed in a vast 3300m² hall which is decorated with a remarkable collect of posters and advertisements of the day. The museum also features a reconstruction of the first garage (1929) of Gaston Giron, the collections founder.
